Wednesday

Wednesday, Wednesday... It flew by. We slept in, (okay, I slept in. Everybody else was up before me. But we are on vacation...) There weren't many pictures on Crystal's camera from Wednesday so you only get two. Basically, we spent all of Wednesday on the beach. The sun was shining most of the day, and although we did get some rain it stayed really warm. One funny thing was, that while we were on the water trampoline the raft thing that Crystal had shoved under a corner of the squishy thing that covers the metal frame of the trampoline somehow flew out of its spot and since the wind was blowing pretty strongly it was like a giant pink kite without a string attatched... Well, it landed about 1/4 mile away over in a rocky area, so Dad and Crystal set out to try and retrieve it. It took them quite a while to climb over all those rocks but they were sucessful! And the raft was still in great condition :)

Getting to be on the beach all day was beyond wonderful, but alas, the downside of being on the beach all day (even with slathered 50 spf everywhere) is the sunburn... A few of us took hits pretty hard. Everyone is a least a slight pinky hue, but well, a few are more maroon. Ouch! Thank goodness we have aloe/blue ice cooling gel. Here is Mourey cooling us all down by scooping our $22 dollar ice cream. Yes you did read that right... Some of the stuff down here is super cheap. Unfortunately, ice cream is not one of them. Dad loves us though, and he bought it anyway. He gets 10 extra points!

I don't have pictures from it yet because they are on a different camera, but before supper we went out shell searching and found some spectacular ones!
