Happy Birthday Mom!

Honk Honk!

Hey, you know how when you drive past people that you know
and want to say hi but can't yell loud enough for them to hear?
So you honk the car horn! Well, I haven't really had time to
blog lately, (or really had much time for anything lately...) and
wanted to say hi, so I'm HONKing the horn. (yes I know blogs
don't have horns! Use your imagination's people!!!)
So HONK HONK! Hi everybody!

Summer.....

As I was walking past a neighbor, they remarked, " A little muggy out today isn't it? "

HA! It isn't just, 'a little muggy'. IT'S HOT!!!!!

I've think I have my days set down, to a system.

I Move as quickly as possible, from air conditioned building, to air conditioned building. When I'm not in a cooled room, I complain about how hot it is, and all the time I'm not doing that I spend in the water.

RIDING LESSON!!!

Hey All BLog Friends.

I know this is way late, ( since I've been back to lessons for over a month,) But Here are some pictures from one of my riding lessons.

I've been having a lot of fun, but it's been a bit difficult getting back into the hang of things.

Kidfun

Zoe, Joy, and Hiram came and spent the day with us

2 Thursdays ago! We had lots of fun!We were trying to think of kidfun stuff, so we came up

with building a tent on the clothesline.
Hiram wanted his picture taken, and Crystal didn't mind
that at all. :)
We held up a dark green blanket behind him, because
the purple sheet that made up the back of the tent
made the pictures look to girly.
Of course we had to goof off a little bit too!

Another kidfun thing we came up with was a picnic

lunch! So we went to a little creek just outside of Eldena

and ate pizza bagels, and then Rach and Zoe waded in

the water.

Joy and I much preferred to stay dry and (relatively) clean,

on the bridge thing (and throw rocks at the other two) :)

I heard the water was pretty cold, but these

2 had fun wading in it, and the 5 feet tall grass made

for a cool picture too.

When we got home, they had a water fight!

They were really in the mood to get wet I think :)

While just messing around at Lowell Park, I told

Rach to jump off the swing set and I'd catch her...Well, things didn't go quite as expected.

YES!!!

THE POOL'S OPEN!!!T opened her pool last week!

The first day the water was really cold, but its feeling

GREAT now!

Plus with the weather so hot its all nice and

refreshing, and just the boost in the afternoon that we all

seem to need in order to finish out the day with energy.

YAY!

Random thoughts...

Okay so I don't know, its probably because I didn't
get much sleep last night, but I just had a whole bunch
of random thoughts buzzing around my head, so here
are a few of them...

Weird that we haven't posted much this month. We've
had tons of stuff going on, so there's plenty to blog about,
we just haven't blogged! (Guess we'll have plenty of ketchup posts) :)

How can it be so warm out if there's such thick cloud cover?

I love Taffie!

Yuk, for some reason I thought that water was cold!

WHY? (just why, not necessarily why anything)

God has always existed. He never began! Somehow, it when I think of
eternity, I think of before earth was created as blackness. But there's
always an end to the blackness. A place where it starts. But the fact
that there wasn't a beginning I cannot grasp. :) (yeah, I think that one
is definitely from the lack of sleep)

How can this God who is SO great, this God who's always been, and
with a thought could obliterate the universe, He chooses to love us?
We the ones who blunder through our entire lives,
are his choice possessions?

And isn't it weird that just when it feels like God has let go, or is
preoccupied, just when you think you're crumbling, or God has left
you alone, even in the most chaotic situations, in a moment of quiet
it feels like he reassures you that he's never left, he's actually right
there, and carrying you along???

So maybe it's lack of sleep. Probably.
But this is what's been going through my head.

Zoe turned 12 on Sunday!

For her birthday she wanted to go roller skating, and so

3 of her cousins, her 3 of her grandparents and some of

us refugees went too :)

We had lots of fun, (and had pizza which is always a plus)!

Devyn's Birthday Party!

Last Friday night we went to Josh's house to help

celebrate Devyn turning 3!

Josh grilled all the meat, and Cecelia made all the "extra stuff"

It was all delicious!

The girls playing in the dirt...

Out of all their toys, and all the people who were there,

they played in the dirt :) Ah, to be kids again!

My little aunt heart melts...
People, People People!
There were people in the house, in the yard, in the pool,
and even in the garage!
And there were a ton of really cute kids there too!

Feeling the pinata before it was hung.

The little kids had trouble holding the bat up,

so Josh had them flip it so they were holding the heavy end,

and swinging the lighter end. Good thinking big bro!

Karley looks more like she was going to stab it!

Keep swinging! I just know it's going to break!

The bigger kids got blindfolded, and spun to make

it more difficult. But the spin part was cut after one of

the kids got disoriented and almost swung towards all the

other kids who were lined up waiting for there turn to whack

the pinata.

Will he break it???

Awww! As soon as these two got there 'canny'
they sat down on the steps and were ready to eat it all :)

For quite a while she wouldn't even pay attention to what she got,

she was just so excited about all the colored tissue paper!

I think we might need a little more help than just a tongue to clean

you up little girl :) Hey at least she's not wasting any!
