Well all, as you have probably noticed,
our posts have been limited.
This is due to the fact that Crystal has been experiencing
internet problems with her laptop, and thus, she has staked her claim on mom's computer.
That and she has been going through old pictures too, so
she hasn't put any recent pictures on the computer.
.
I had taken this picture just a few weeks ago.
I love the beauty in it.
Even though the leaves are lying dead around it, (and nearly covering it)
the dandelion is vibrantly alive and declaring life to all who will stop long enough to look...

Or something like that :)

Party/Get Together

This Sunday. The Zigler's hosted a little get together thingy. It kind of doubled as a birthday party for Crystal as Well. ( Hence the Cupcakes )

Here's some of the things we did, with some of the people who were there.

We took a walk in the woods......

We all sat/stood around and talked. ( one of the things we do best ) And while some of the people talked, Isaac found a hedge apple. He thought it was just absolutely amazing, ( I thought it was pretty cool too ) So I went looking for some with him and my nephew. Well, I ( being the oldest one looking ) should have been ready to answer their questions about them, and helped them find them. But I was searching the ground.... thinking (like mushrooms) they grew on the ground. Well, they actually grow on tree's and fall. So I guess it could've been hazardous had we been standing under the trees, we all could have been knocked unconscious by falling hedge apples!!

Kaleb was playing hide and seek I think. I remember slightly what it was like when being a little kid, I thought that so long as my eye's were covered, ( you know I couldn't see them ) That I was covered. Like that even though there's a big lump on the bed under the blanket, that they still won't find me.Becky, and some other people took advantage of the treeswingwe don't know why, but we really like this picture.
Zoe, wanted to do 3 legged races all night. But there wasn't enough people who wanted to race, so she and Gabrielle decided to just tie their legs together and walk around. Well, more and more people wanted to join, until they had 10 people all tied together !! They actually did really good, and were able to climb an entire flight of stairs all together, with no broken bones in the process. I was impressed. All I did was tie everyone together......

We did other things, like a seemingly endless game of capture the flag, and sitting around a campfire, and other stuff. It was really fun.

Thanks Ziglers for a awesome night.

--Fun Night--

Okay. So I'm a little late on this.... A whole week late.
Last Monday Drena invited us all over for supper. We made Pizza for dinner. Us, Wolfgang, Lauren and Kathrin, Drena, Reid, and Bop, the Zigler's, and Aunt T were there.
I'm not really sure what the Adults did, I ( still considering myself a kid ) stayed outside all night, and Jumped on the Trampoline. We also freaked ourselves out in the dark, while walking around by some old abandoned buildings.
Here are some pictures of us on the trampoline.

with so many of us on the trampoline, it kind of helped to hold onto the net so you wouldn't jump and bash into someone else.

For the most part of the night we were just being completely mindless. Jumping around like maniacs, and making needless noise. Just for the fun of it.

This one's kind of blurry, but we all really liked to jump in front of the camera.
FreeFall. ( and hope you don't break a bone )
Hiram. ( Or Hoppy as I've dubbed him ) looked so cute in the beanbag.

Joy and Hiram really like Reid's dog Dooley. Dooley was really good with the little kids too.

Kind of the main reason we had this night is so that we could all hang out with Kathrin some more. So we ( Or at least us girls ) all got a silly picture together.

Was Blind but now I See

Just got back from the eye doctor.
They dilated our eyes, and did a whole bunch of other stuff, so I was half blind for like 4 hours.
It was a really strange feeling to try to read and not be able to see straight, or to do normal things and just have everything look fuzzy. I couldn't even read my watch!
All is fine now though. ( I'm sure you guessed that since I'm blogging )
I told the Eye Doctor that he ROCKED --because I don't need glasses.
( to set your mind at ease neither do Crystal or Becky. )

Lets finish this day off right...

~Psalm 123:1~
I lift my eyes to you,
O God, enthroned in heaven.
~Psalm 141:2~
Accept my prayer as incense offered to you,
and my upraised hands as an evening offering.
~Psalm 145:1-3~
I will praise you, my God and King,
and I will bless your name forever and ever.
I will bless you every day,
and I will praise you forever.
Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise!
His greatness is beyond discovery!

' cool pictures'

This past Saturday, A certain set of twins fell victim to a certain budding photographer, who is recently on a binge for ' cool shots ' .

She also seems to like the shots of herself looking ' cool in a normal sort of way ' So your certain dear blogging friend tried to take decent pictures for our budding photographer.

Though this shot, and the next are not very clear, I seem to have taken a liking to them. Blurry or not I think they're cool.

Also I'm not giant for the main subject in a picture to not be looking at the camera, but, I did as I was asked and tried to look, I don't know, 'pondering' maybe.

I found a couple of old tires while playing the victim, and begged to have a picture with them. The old stove I'm by also kindof caught my interest.

Becky, ( 'or Beeker' as I've taken to call her ). Got captured, and forced into endless 'cool shots' too. ( I don't think she minded. )

Now, I didn't mean to sound all doom and gloom about the photographer thing. It's actually very cool having someone with the brains to know how to take pictures like this, and not make their victims look dumb, being your sister. And Most of the shots she took of me were probably my ideas. So don't get me wrong. Please.
They do look Cool Crystal.

Live Life

Friends are the Bacon Bits, in the Salad Bowl of Life ......

I'm not sure why I wrote that, I saw it somewhere, and even though it doesn't really fit, I just had to put it anyway.

Oooh Yuck!

Last Saturday we to the campground.
We chopped wood. Actually, for the first 20 mins. or so
I was completely horrified by the bugs...
there were gazillions of Asian beetles all over.
After that I got over it and put myself to good use helping
to unload the chopped wood into the woodshed.
And after that I actually chopped some.
As you can see I worked up quite an appetite.
No, I actually didn't eat it.
I think slugs look disgusting and feel even worse.
Just thinking about them makes me want to shudder.

As sick as I think they are though, I thought this was a beautiful picture.

So enjoy the creepy-crawly!

Good Morning

Good morning everyone!
This morning I woke up to the sun shining all to bright in my eyes.
At first I was upset and thought "come on, can't
I just wake up slowly and quietly?"
Then I started realizing how beautiful it was outside.
And I was so thankful for the sunlight.
Psalm 19:1-4a
The heavens tell of the glory of God.
The skies display his marvelous craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or word;
their voice is silent in the skies:
yet their message has gone out to all the earth,
and their words to all the world.
Have a great day everyone.

Puppy!!!!

A few weeks ago my cousin Damon got a little 2 month old beagle puppy. Her name is Molly.Molly, ( and my cousins ) came out to visit us this past Saturday.
She is so absolutely adorable that I could not resist cuddling her, and petting her. Her fur/hair, whatever you want to call it, Feels exactly like one of those furry fleece blankets. And she loves attention.

As puppies naturally are, she was curious. Unfortunately she decided to sniff in my shoe. Bad idea....

This was her reaction.
(Not really. She's actually yawning. )

She had the most inquisitive eyes. She had a very sweet temperament. Very wiggly.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Rach

Happy Birthday!!!

Thursday, The 2nd of October 1979 My Mom's world was rocked.
She was blessed with the most beautiful son she could imagine.
Perfect in Every way.
Through good times and bad, her love stood strong.

Josh came over this year for his birthday, and though nothing fancy, we celebrated.
We celebrated My brother. For who he is, for who he will be.
We celebrated the day he was born.
Happy Birthday Josh.
We Love You.

Mark Shultz

Last Sunday night we went to a Mark Shultz concert.
It was at a Masonic Temple ( hence the picture of the mason's sign )
The organization putting on this event was the "Leap of Faith" ministries.
They had a table set up outside with free cookies and drinks.
(and peppermints)
Look! We actually managed to get a picture of us 4
and we all look good (and no one is making a weird face)

Here is Mr. Mark himself!
It was no rock concert, but he puts on a great show nonetheless.

He told a lot of funny stories, but also had the adults from our group bawling quite a bit :)

In the '80s people would wave lighters during concerts... Mark Shultz liked that idea, but due to fire hazards he has people wave cell phones.

What was really funny is that after the song was done that everyone waved the phones to, Rachel and Reid realized that their phone lights turn off after 15 seconds... So they were waving dark phones through the song. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that they did that... :)

Here he's singing the song "He's My Son" I somehow don't think that any parent in that room had a dry eye. I heard quite a few sniffles coming from around me.
We sat in the 2nd balcony. And despite the distance from the stage
we could see great. The place was packed out.

Here we are at the end of the show.

For some reason us Kalebaughs always seem to be the last ones out of a building.

Along with our family, Aunt T and Uncle Joe, Aunt Amy and Jared, Mourey and Marge and Drena and Reid all came. We all sat pretty close together too. There were 2 groups of us and we sat two rows apart. And of course...
I saw a traffic cone on the way out and had to get my picture taken with it. :)

Riding Lessons

Whether or not any of you saw the previous pictures of my riding lessons, I thought I'd update on how it's going.

That, and I'm absolutely stunned by how beautiful Rave is. ( If you can call a male horse Beautiful. )

You might think, the tree ruins the picture but I thought it was kind of neat.

How riding lessons are going.

They're Very cool. I'm not really much better than when I started out, but I really, really enjoy the lessons. And Emily is cool. She's a very good teacher.

To clear all your doubtful minds.... No I haven't fallen off. No I haven't gotten bit, and no I haven't killed the horse. ( Not like you can't see the #3 reassurance )

Adios friends...................... The Favorite Twin.
