I don't know what to say.

I'm overwhelmed.
What can I say to the One who gives me each breath I breathe.
How can anything I say mean anything to the One who gave
me the gift of speech? My very existence is sustained by Him.
How can anything I say or think be of any worth to the One who
controls everything? And the One that everything is created for!

And yet in all of that, for me, he came here. The one outside of time
and space came to live in this world where most people ignored him
or hated him.

You came here for me. You did it because you loved me and wanted me.
I'll never understand why.
But I thank you.
That's the only thing I know to say.
Thank you for loving me. And saving my soul.
Thank you for being here with me.
I love you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!!!

Snow Fun!

When we got our first "big snow" this year we went to some friends'
house to go sledding!!!!
Josh and Cameron came with us too :)
Crystal took some pictures too!!! It seems that lately
we don't end up getting pictures of the stuff we do, so when we end up
getting some its monumental!! (well almost anyway...)
I really liked this picture.
Hehehe, Crik, Rach, Josh and I were feeling lazy so instead of
walking up the sledding hill tons of times we just stayed at the top
of the hill and made snow creatures!
(Notice the tiny snowbaby on the snowman's shoulder??)
Josh made a snow turtle!
This was our attempt at a snow dog...
Uh, yeah... You can see how that went...
Collecting the sleds at the bottom of the hill :)
I made a snow ant! I thought the muddy snow added to the
creepy crawly look.
:) Group picture!
Whoa there anty!!!!
:) Don't forget Rachel's snow mouse!!!!!

Kalebaugh Christmas

Between much laughter, silly picture taking, food, talking and
all that good stuff, Kalebaugh Christmas was 2 Saturdays ago. One of the great things about being a Kalebaugh is that whenever
there are family gatherings, they ALWAYS involve food!
And most of the time at least half the "food" is sweets!
The fudge was awesome...
Awww :)
Rest assured, I checked to make sure the fire extinguisher was
inspected for '09! (no, actually I just saw it while making kool-aid
and thought it'd be a good picture)
This year we held KC at the Loveland Community Building.
It was major different (because it's normally at our house)
but really fun still, and really nice being lazy and knowing someone
else was going to clean up after us!
Oh, and they had this really nice baby grand too...
Sittin' around waiting for everyone to arrive...
Rach and I tried to find a place to stand that was out of the way...
It didn't work too well.
Eating!
Oh the food was wonderful! We have such great
cooks in this family!!! I love it!
Hehehe! This poinsettia was really in the way at the table I was at.
I kept running my head into it :/
But I like poinsettia's so I left it there.
Crystal had a mini-me.
It was so much fun getting to see everybody!
Merry Christmas all!

Christmas Up Close (Catch up 2)

The day after we got our first snow I was feeling all
Christmassy so I took advantage of the fact that Crystal hasn't
been taking many pictures lately and took some of my own.
Now, I'm no photographer, but here's some pictures of
some of our decorations.
This is the fiber optic angel that is on top of our piano. :) The chubby snowmen!
"My" angel. Mom found 1 that played a violin, 1 a flute, and
another one a trumpet, so she got them...
One of the many candle holders we have out this year.
Crystal did most of the decorating and she's big into candles this year...
One of the snowflakes that's hanging in our front window.
another one.
The little glass nativity set. I love this one. (I've glued some of
it back together multiple times too)
I found some Christmas books to set out :D:D
It looks like this snowman was trying to hide...
We normally put colored lights on the piano, but this year decided
to mix it up and do white. (I still like the colored better, but the
white are pretty too.)
Our little Peace piece.
Gingerbread man and candy is how we decorated
our kitchen. I'm liking the candy part! Maybe a little too much...
The big tree in our front yard.
I always love when it gets covered in snow for the first time!
Icicles!! Reid wasn't here to eat them so they stayed up
there until the melted.
:) The snow.
I had fun taking the pictures! (and then locked myself out of
the house when it was in the negative degrees...) :/
I'm so glad Aunt Amy was home to give me a house key :)

:) Catching up.

Well, I figured it was about time...
I haven't blogged in quite a while and thought since I have nothing
else to do, I might as well designate this afternoon to blogging!
Here are some pictures from when we went and got
our Christmas Tree! Yes it was over 3 weeks ago...
I told you its been quite a while!
I love watching the kids' excitement!
Our "caravan" as my parents always call it ;)
We were just kind of snapping the pictures at random...
Hiram ran for almost the entire time we were at the tree farm!
By the time we were headed back to the vehicles he was getting
piggyback rides from whoever would give them to him :)
Rach found ours! hahaha...
Everyone else still had to search for theirs.
Uncle Joe cutting down theirs.
Fortunately, Rach was outvoted and we ended up getting a 'real'
Christmas tree. And she really wanted a picture of her and Taffie
behind it so...
You know, for as pretty (or at least I think she is) as my dog is, sometimes,
well MOST of the time she is pretty unphotogenic. :/
Rach...
Aww. Sometimes she can make a pretty good picture!
