:D haha!

Thursday, Jess, Jamie, and Sawyer came over to our house,
We had snacks, played wii, videochatted with our parents, and played, Would You Rather...
Crystal, to win the game ended up having to have a mustache, and glasses drawn onto her face :D
So Jamie did the mustache, and Becky did the glasses :D iIn this one, she really looks like dad I think :D

HaHa it was a great night! thanks for coming out Jess and Jamie ( and Sawyer )

2

Well, since I was blogging some random pictures earlier
I thought I'd do another post! (Not to mention
that most of these pictures are my favorites too...)
I like this picture.
It looks real. It's not like its 'perfect', but it is still beautiful!
This one we took last summer when Crystal was doing a bunch of
"practice" shoots. She took Rach, Zoe and I on a 'cowgirl' shoot.
It was great fun!
;) This was one of the first pictures that Crystal took after
she got her new camera.
:D I actually took this one. I like to take pictures of flowers
from underneath them and it kind of looks like they are
looking right up to the sun.
I think this one might be my favorite flower picture that
Crystal has taken...
;) This one looks almost heretical!
We were making some decorations and wanted the 'burnt edge'
look so we were burning some old music.
:D Children don't try this at home!!!!
I'll quit saying "I like this one" or stuff like that, because I'm
sure I'm getting boring, but this one was really fun!
It was from while we were coming back from our vacation
last summer. We stopped at a little town and walked around
and looked in a bunch of antique shops and other fun places.
HEHEHEHEhehehehe! Talk Like A Pirate Day a few
years ago.... That year we had the best costumes!
As you can see :D
Awww I love my dog!
I think she's quite pretty...

;) Because she wants me to...

Well, Mom really wanted me to blog, so since she asked,
and I like to be on her good side...
Well, I'm blogging Mom!
Kinda cheating since its not really about anything in particular,
but at least its blogging right!?
Crystal's been cleaning her computer out and putting pictures
onto cd's and so while she's got a bunch of them still left on here
I thought I'd take advantage of them :)
Here's a little baby frog that we found I don't know where.
Here's one that Crystal took while we were at the studio
a few weeks ago.
:D Mom also told me I should put some pictures of
"the kids" up...
I love this one of the kids!
It's so typical! None of them are really paying attention
and they all look adorable ;)
And this one's just neat...
So. This was the post for mom :) And of course dad!

Pondering... or something like that.

Right now I'm sitting here at the computer thinking. And I'm trying to decide if that's a good thing or not ;) I think it is... So many things are going on in my head, and so many feelings are running right along with those thoughts.
Fun stuff, hard stuff, books, school, life, me, friends, recipes, music, prayer, pictures, people, forgiveness, the weather, colors, things I've done, things I've only heard about, places, pain, light, loyalty, patience, and oh so much more...
I'm not really even sure why I'm writing any of this down. Ah well, I guess some day when I look back over this blog I'll be surprised that I actually posted this and laugh at myself :)

One really neat thing I found out today is that if one were to unravel and then connect together all the veins, arteries, capillaries, venules, and arterioles from one average adult, they would stretch for about 90,000 miles!!!!

A cool quote I read lately - Courage is not the absence of fear, but the judgement that something else is more important than fear. ~Ambrose Redmoon

I've been thinking about the monotony of life when you do "just enough", and the rewarding feeling from working hard.

The gift of having someone trust me.
The joy I find in reading.
The "smell" of fresh air.
The kind of faith that children have.
Chocolate.
Still having a little flutter of excitement when I get to drive ;)
The way an expression can wound someone.
How thankful I am that I have a warm place to sleep.
The distinct sounds of certain people's laughter.
The mind boggling concept that God could love me, and that he allowed his son to pay my sentenced punishment. That he always forgives me. And that no matter how many times I ignore him and try to run away he is right behind me and waits for me to turn around.

Yeah, this is a crazy post.
I can't believe I'm even putting it up.
But oh well, I am.
:) hope you enjoyed the rambling. Now it's time for me
to head to bed. Hopefully now that I've gotten some of this stuff out of my head I'll be able to sleep...

*Happy Dance*

Yesterday I got to meet my newest cousin Cainen!
He lives over by where we take horse riding lessons, so while
Rachel was having her lesson I got to go visiting :)
He's so tiny :)
When I first held him he was hungry and cried the whole time...
But after he had a little snack he felt much better and I got a
chance to talk to him. I like him quite well ;)
So, WELCOME TO THE FAMILY CAINEN!!!

Christmas Cookies!!!

Yeah well, I know I know its been WAY too long since I've
blogged... But hey its for a good cause! I'm trying to not be on
the internet so much. I've got pictures from all sorts of things
that I should post (and don't even get me started about how
I should post on the Kandidkalebaughs or Refuge blog...)
But anyway, I thought I'd post a few pictures from our Christmas
cookie baking day! There aren't very many of them because
we kept plenty busy cooking but we did get a few!
Aunt T and her granddaughters came over and baked their
cookies and helped us decorate ours! We had a really great time
and I had some great helpers with making the gingerbread!
I just scraped the sides of the bowl, other than that Jess and
Jenny did all the work!
(I think they should come over more often) :)
By the sixth or so batch of cookies I was getting pretty
wore out... And way overloaded my system with sugar...
But it was Rachel's dish day so that made things all better!
Well, I hope I haven't made you all want cookies too badly now :)

:)

Hey guess what!?
:) I love my brother!
