Girls's Night!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello TO you All
Monday Night Faith and Melody came over for a supper, game, movie night.
when the first got there, we talked, and laughed, and talked and laughed and then talked and laughed some more. Then, We had dinner ( Crystal made Mexican Chicken soup, and the Girl's brought some salsa-ish stuff )
For dessert Crystal made Peanut Butter Chocolate granola bars. OOOOOHHHHHhh they were good!!!
While we ate dessert, we talked and laughed, and talked and laughed, and played the Wii.
While playing the Wii, we decided to take pictures to document our Night.
So, Enjoy.....

After taking pictures, we watched a movie ( while talking and laughing )
That pretty much sums up the night.
Thanks for a Crazy/Cool night girls :)

Supper with Grandpa!

Last night Grandpa Simpson invited us out for supper,
and we were fortunate enough to get a separate room
(with doors that closed) because kids will be kids,
and thus, our group was loud.
But fun!

Aunt Rachel winding up the children...

This morning we went to Grandpa's house and
Aunt Ev, (Uncle Jerry's wife) made us all breakfast.
She made biscuits and gravy (and it was WONDERFUL!!!)
And we had a lovely fruit salad too. And lots of coffee!

Fun with my sisters....

Yee HAW!!!
Okay. I don't know about the rest of you, but I really enjoy my sisters ( 99% of the time )
Here are just a few random pictures of us 3 having fun.
This was when we thought it'd be fun to swing each other like a hammock in a blanket.
I seem to recall Becky saying she got the heavy end ( if a person has a heavy end ) and we had to trade spots.

We traded spots as you can see.
Here we were swinging her pretty high, and we got to all laughing so much that we dropped her !

Up Again....We found it was really fun to swing the people real high, and than let them go ( because it would really scare them ) And then let them fly into the couch.

Enjoy... Rach

One Rockin'Awesome Night!

Well, after a little bit of pleading (and making sure I had
Uncle Joe and T on my side) I got Mom and Dad
convinced to take us all to the Rock and Worship
Roadshow!!!
The only one we could make it to was in Cedar Rapids IA,
it was a REALLY long car ride...
But TOTALLY worth it!
The R&W Roadshow consisted of Addison Road,
Tenth Avenue North, Hawk Nelson, Jeremy Camp, and MercyMe.
But Addison Road's singer just had a baby, and Jeremy Camp
wasn't there either, so a guy named John Reuben,
and Sanctus Real filled in!
I missed not getting to see AR and JC but John Reuben did
a good job getting the audience warmed up, and I've
wanted to see Sanctus Real in concert for quite a while now
so it was still great!
We stopped on our way there and had a picnic supper!

Anybody want a potato chip?
Finally at the concert!
Crik, Rach and I went and stood on the main floor
(although we had earlier staked out seats against the
wall in the balcony so it could be dejavu to our last
MercyMe concert experience)
Criky left the camera up there so after a while I couldn't
take it any more and dragged them with me (Dad told us we all
HAD to stick together or he wouldn't let us wander around)
(which was probably a good thing, being lost in a group of
9ish thousand wouldn't have been very fun...)
So I dragged them with me all the way up the hundreds of stairs
to get the camera. And its a good thing for you that I did
otherwise you wouldn't have gotten to see any pictures! :(

Here's the only picture we have of Hawk Nelson...
They put on a really fun show!
The rest of them didn't really like him, but me
and Rach thought it was pretty cool.
You can't really see them, but here's an attempted
self portrait that Criky took of her and Rach.
Hmmm, well it looks cooler when the picture is bigger
but it looked really neat to see all those people packed
into one building. Especially when the lights would spin
around! (and everybody was jumping or dancing) :)
Bart and Nate talking about Compassion International.Matt Hammit! From Sanctus Real.

This is the big screen, as their picture was changing
from Mark (drums) to Chris (guitar) I snapped this.
I thought it was pretty cool!
Pretty much the only way to get a picture
of the drummer is to take it off the big screen...
So here's another one!
Come on everybody put your hands up...
Oh wait wrong person ;P

If your happy and you know it clap your hands!
Okay so I went a little picture crazy...
(but I had to make up for not getting any of the first
3 bands) Or so I told Crik...
Here's one from during the song "Don't Give Up"
And one from "Whatever You're Doing".
MercyMe's road pastor/road manager Joel.
Mike from Tenth Avenue North leading worship
while the offering was being taken.
And here's something new to the blog, video!
Granted the picture isn't very clear, but it did get pretty
good sound! I was going to put some video's of Sanctus Real
on here but for some reason they won't upload.
Enjoy!
(go to the bottom of the page to turn off the blog
playlist first!)

Bart.
Mike.
Some more video!!!
And if you look kind of squinty, you can see the drum player.
Tenth Avenue North's drummer filled in for MercyMe's
because Robby's wife just had a baby about 3 days before
this concert.

Nathan.
Don't forget Jim!
(how come you can hardly ever see the keyboard player?)
BARRY!
I Can Only Imagine...

Piano Recital!

This Sunday was Faith's piano recital(s).
She has so many students that she has 2!
Both on the same day, and one right after the other.
We 3 played in both.
Here's Rachel!
Molly W.
Gabrielle!
Tosca W.
Criky, (who arranged her own piece!!! and did a
wonderful job!)
the whole 1st recital group.
Just a few outdoor pictures!
Samantha W.
ME.
Criky and Sam.
Jared was in the second recital.
Criky and Faith did a funny skit/song thing
during the offering.
They hammed it up quite well!
Even with only 2 days to practice!!!
(someone even made a comment about that
"they must have practiced for months")
And here's the whole 2nd recital group!
Great job everybody!
Thanks for being such a good teacher Faith!
