Party!

Well, red just seems like a party color so at least some of this post will be done in it :)
On New Year's Eve we always have a party at our house.
And just like anything done Kalebaugh, there is always
family, friends, and a lot of food!
Aaawwww, aren't they so nice?
I love the loudness, craziness of people being tired,
games, and people covering our whole house.
But probably the funnest thing is that we all just love to
be together whether we are doing something or just sitting around.
Let the games commence!
We played a long game of quiddler in Rach's and my room...
We have a VERY hard floor.
A favorite little person!
(and some traffic cones, so what's not to like)
Another favorite little person!
Its always fun to watch kids try to figure out how to play a game.
This turned out to be a very interesting game of Stratego...
but they had fun so that's all that matters!
What better to play on New Year's Eve than PIT!
We had a very loud game :) and very fun too!
The older (and more tired) people playing a quiet game of Phase 10.
We won't put a caption about these people's age...
but they were watching the computer screen saver... :)
New Year's Eve also happens to be my Dad's birthday, so we had
a chocolate, peanut butter, mayonnaise cake!
(I know it sounds disgusting, but its actually really good)
We didn't have any candles, so we used matches,
but they didn't stay lit very well.
I corralled everyone 13 and under to help cut confetti
(seeing as we had forgotten to get some)
But hey, it kept them occupied, and they weren't running indoors so it was cool.
Okay here we go! 3, 2, 1...
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!

I hope 2009 brings you all success, happiness,
and blessings only God could think to give you!
