Who's ready for Christmas?!!!!

WE ARE!!!!!!

When we were little we used to think it was "fun" to do sing-along's

while driving to the tree farm.

Well that was a LONG time ago... Dad and Mom have still

not grown out of that and so Crik and Rach found these glorious things...

EARPLUGS!

We're HERE! Who's ready to find a Christmas Tree?

Here's our AWESOME tree that I so kindly let borrow my sunglasses.

Hiram was so cute all bundled up!

Joy wasn't in a very good mood, and we were all trying

to get her to smile. It wasn't working too well.

But nothing could stop us from finding the perfect tree!

We prevailed, and didn't get in bad moods either!

I think it was a mini-miracle...

We matched so Criky took our picture. Still no smile from Joy though.

Running through the forest and letting the kids get "lost"

and then I'd have to "find" them.

Hiram got caught on a thorn bush.

Yay for thick gloves he wasn't hurt!

Here's dad cutting down our "perfect" tree.

If you look close, you can see Rachel's glove

on top. She put it there to mark it as ours!

He had to take a break while cutting it down though,

He claimed he thought he was going into cardiac arrest :)
He had us all laughing.

Zeb cut down their family's tree.

Hiram got down to "help" too! It was really cute.
And Jared cut down his family's tree!
While waiting for Jared to get the tree cut down we found some mushrooms that were really cool. If you stepped on them all these spores would come out and it looked like smoke!

Maybe the cutest thing that happened though was

while Dad was dragging our tree back towards our vehicle,

Hiram got right up there and found a little branch to hold onto

and "help" drag! :)
