Birthday Excursion...

Can you believe it!? Jared turned 15 on the 30th of December!!!
We all conspired together and decided that we should all go out and do fun

non-parental-supervised stuff... So here's what we came up with!

We went and picked him and Stevie up and then, once we got him to wear

'the birthday shirt' (that Rach and I ever so cleverly designed) we went bowling!
Steeeeevie!
It had been at least 5 years since Jay had been bowling so it took
him a few tries to re-get the hang of it ;)
But do you see the front of the 'birthday shirt??)
Rachel and I set out to purposely embarrass Jared, not a lot but at least
make the trip memorable... Had we really been thinking we would have started
'accidentally' bowling in the wrong lane, or falling, or yelling happy birthday and
getting others to come sing to him...
Next time!!!!!

Well... I almost won!! Steve beat me by a few points though...

And now on to round 2!

That would be Pizza Hut!!!

And yes, the face is Jared trying to complain his way out of having

to wear the birthday shirt...

While at supper, Steve and Crystal challenged each other to a red pepper

flake eating contest... They each got a tablespoon of rpflakes, and had to eat them all.

Whoever drank first lost...

:D It was funny to watch!!Steve gave in first...

Jared dutifully recorded the event as it happened... On his brand new

birthday gift an Ipod Nano!!!!

Spectators... :P

Meanwhile, the contestants were outside trying to find relief...

And after dinner we went to see a movie!

Stocked with 7 different kinds of candy, I might add...

The movie was 3D so we all got to rock out in the 3D glasses...

But since SOME of us actually returned them (like we were supposed to)
we wore our sunglasses for this picture.

That was a lot of fun!
