Last Sunday night we went to a Mark Shultz concert.
It was at a Masonic Temple ( hence the picture of the mason's sign )
The organization putting on this event was the "Leap of Faith" ministries. They had a table set up outside with free cookies and drinks.
(and peppermints)
Look! We actually managed to get a picture of us 4and we all look good (and no one is making a weird face)
Here is Mr. Mark himself!
It was no rock concert, but he puts on a great show nonetheless.
He told a lot of funny stories, but also had the adults from our group bawling quite a bit :)
In the '80s people would wave lighters during concerts... Mark Shultz liked that idea, but due to fire hazards he has people wave cell phones.
What was really funny is that after the song was done that everyone waved the phones to, Rachel and Reid realized that their phone lights turn off after 15 seconds... So they were waving dark phones through the song. Somehow it doesn't surprise me that they did that... :)
Here he's singing the song "He's My Son" I somehow don't think that any parent in that room had a dry eye. I heard quite a few sniffles coming from around me.
We sat in the 2nd balcony. And despite the distance from the stagewe could see great. The place was packed out.
Here we are at the end of the show.
For some reason us Kalebaughs always seem to be the last ones out of a building.

Along with our family, Aunt T and Uncle Joe, Aunt Amy and Jared, Mourey and Marge and Drena and Reid all came. We all sat pretty close together too. There were 2 groups of us and we sat two rows apart.
And of course... I saw a traffic cone on the way out and had to get my picture taken with it. :)
