Wide Awake...

Hey everyone! On account of the fact that we had such a great

time hanging out at Mendota Hills Campground this weekend,

(and thus, didn't get much sleep) I was tired after the Memorial Day

service (Happy Memorial Day!!) that we participate in at the Nelson

cemetery. So after we got home I took a nap! I haven't done that in

forever! But unfortunately, now its 11:30 and I'm wide awake,

but have to be quiet because everybody else in our house is asleep...

So I figure why not blog? I haven't did that in a while, and have

plenty to catch up on!

So here we go.

A few Wednesday's ago while the parents were at a meeting we 3

went and stayed with the Zigler 4 :)

We decided we needed a "fun" supper so we made bagel pizza's!
I had made one a few months ago and fell in love with them.
(that's probably the only reason I didn't opt for "normal food")
What's a pizza without cheese?

And of course, my favorite pepperoni!!!

Such a cute face!

T, Damon, Drena and Reid joined us and it made for a

great evening!

These ones played Star Wars Monopoly while waiting

for dinner to be served.

(I started playing but ended up giving all my stuff away

because I ran out of money...)

Ice Cream!!!

After going to Aurora with T a few weeks ago we "had"

to stop at Cold Stone Creamery and get Ice Cream...

It was WONDERFUL!
Yes I did eat too much.
It was vanilla goodness with pecans, hot fudge, carmel,
and brownie pieces....

So, I know you all have been seeing a lot of Karley on our blog, but, when the pictures are new, and you have a Adorable little model..... Of course you get them blogged about.....

Practice Makes Perfect!

Crystal's been practicing with the manual setting

on her camera lately.

And with such awesome models to photograph

who wouldn't want to practice???
Cameron and his sister Karley!!!
Cameron is so good with his sisters,
they both just adore him!
When we were at grandpa's for lunch on Monday, Crystal
took them out and just snapped away...

Karley liked sitting around getting her picture taken a little

more than Cameron did, so that's why there are a LOT

of pictures of her...

Crystal had to banish me, because every time I'd go out

and Karley would see me she'd start talking nonstop...

I know I've said it lots, but I really like having a photographer

for a sister!

:( My poor nephew fell and broke a bone in his foot.

He also sprained his ankle pretty bad :(

It didn't slow him down any though

(except he got a few days off of school)!

He's awfully cute on crutches too...

Picnic!

Thursday us girls went on a picnic with our

friend Danielle! And even Taffie got to come!

We had a great time.

And once Taffie got over her fear of the car, she did too!

Beings that Crystal and Danielle both love photography

we of course took lots of pictures.

It was so warm out that Taffie panted the whole time...

But she's still cute!

We all thought she looked really old because she

squinted in the sun, panted, and just layed as much as she could.
The poor thing has a double layer coat so she is quite insulated.

Her and my Mom both love it when we put the air

conditioners in for summer :)

It was so much fun getting to hang out with Danielle!

I think I might have discovered the secret to getting

good pictures of my dog...

Take them when she's not paying attention!

(then it looks like she's artistically posed too!)

We love girl-days!

Rachel and Taffie bored, while the rest of us were taking

pictures of plants and stuff.

We're going to have to work on the jumpy pictures...

They're so much fun to take, but hardly ever look cool.

I'm so glad we've gotten some sunny weather!

I was awfully tired of the rain.

And here, I'll throw in one more picture of Taffie!

Okay, so I'm not a great photographer, but the violets

were in full bloom 2 Sunday's ago so I took Taffie out

to get some pictures of her.
She loved laying out there in them but every time I'd call

for her to look at me she'd get up and come stand in front of

me waiting for a command.

She's so cute like that, if I talk to her she'll come and wait for

directions, or if we're walking she'll constantly keep looking

up at me to make sure she's doing the right thing.

Unfortunately, Taffie is not very photogenic. Sometimes we

get some amazing pictures of her, but most of the time

they're not. So here's just 2 of the many pictures I took.
